INTERIOR TO LOOK AT: IF I WOULD DECORATE MYSELF, IT WOULD LOOK LIKE THIS ONE

Here it comes - first dose of my weekly inspiration! Linnéstaden apartment designed and decorated  in pure and simple Scandinavian way! And all of it in old town building from 1891.

It has everything I would choose: 3 rooms, not too many square meters (only 66, but they seem much larger), bright walls, white floor, walk in closet and high ceilings...I'm only missing balcony or loggia. I've heard that outdoor space in Sweden is a must? 

Bedrooms are courtyard located. There is plenty of storage in built - in closets and other closets around the apartment....


What more can girl ask for? Maybe some touch from old times: paneled doors?, stucco?, ceiling medallions?, old tiles on the floor?

Like in every fine Scandinavian home, space is not overcrowded with furniture, there are some flashes of bright and strong colors, walls are light (white and gray), and floors are either. In overall there is plenty of light...in every way.

Kitchen. White, white, and some more of white! Love it! Even it is not updated.

Bathroom. Surprise! I'm used to completely white tiles in most of Scandinavian homes, but there it is - black line of tiles along the wall and black floor in shower cubicle! I am a shower girl....I don't like to bath.

I'm searching through Internet for years and I'm still surprised with the design and beauty you can get when buying real estate in Sweden.

I am impressed every time...

THE NEW BEGINNING

To my dear readers! 

After long thinking and rethinking on to keep writing or stoping it, I have decided to keep it going further. But I didn't wanted to continue it on the same level and with same subjects and themes.
Things around me are different these days...I have changed, my life has changed. I'm not doing the same things I've been doing last year. So this blog had to be changed also, in order to follow my own footsteps. 

First big decision was to start writing in English. Most of my online friends aren't Croatian, and I want to share my blog with them also...So, to all my Croatian readers, I hope you won't mind and you'll stay with me on this site.

Second (and last decision....don't laugh on me, these two were hard enough :-) since I'm not good decision maker) was slight change in blog theme. I'm still an architect, interior designer and craft person, interested in all I can see, touch, get or try. But, there is question of time. With my daily job, small child, all the jobs around house,... I can't find, and I don't want to find anymore, enough time to accomplish everything I used to before.
So, everything will be more related to the things I'm doing now: designing and rearrangement of my apartment, designing for my occasional clients, DIY and crafting only things connected to my interior design job, reviewing interior design I like, writing some articles or reviews of products I use, like, or I just want to buy one day.

That's it....sorry for my occasional English mistakes...you're welcome to point them out, I want to learn! And, I hope you'll like this renewed version of my site and enjoy it as much as I do!

Torbice po posebnim narudžbama

Ne šijem više unaprijed...točnije ne šijem uopće jer sam sredila sve igle za mašinu i nikako da kupim nove, no, svako toliko upadne mi neka narudžba pa je se onda s veseljem prihvatim...

Obje su bile rođendanski poklon...i druga je moj prvi okršaj s skajem.

Prva, smeđa je bila naručna za jednu djevojku koja voli sve u nekakvom girly-stilu, ali bez pretjerivanja i ima kaput kojem bi taman pasala sametna torbica, clutch ali sa remenom...

Druga je prava damska, od bijelog skaja, na vezanje, s mogućnošću nošenja u 'svezanom' i 'odvezanom' obliku.

Tortice

Ima sad već vjerojatno više mjeseci od kada je Hobby Chic objavila post o izradi fimo tortica...i kopkalo me i kopkalo dok nisam našla koji sat vremena i odlučila ih probati napraviti...

Nisu baš predivne, imaju crne mrljice jer sam u nedostatku bijelog fima morala raditi s mramornim, i nisu uspjele kako sam planirala, no za prvi put sam zadovoljna i nadam se da ću pronaći vremena za napraviti još koju i izvježbati se u ovoj, meni prezanimljivoj tehnici...

Slike su loše jer su rađene mobitelom..no poslužiti će.

I još malo jastuka...

U nekom trenutku inspiracije nastale su i ove jastučnice....

 Ova mi je posebno draga, što zbog materijala, što zbog dizajna...

Preklop, mogućnost korištenja s obje strane, mekani pamučni materijal boje pijeska i umjetna svila s baršunastim aplikacijama...i na kraju zelena mašna :)

Za jastuk 40x40 cm.

Nisam ljubitelj plave boje, pogotovo ako je ovako svijetla. Jako mi rijetko legne i teško se odlučujem za nju. No, ove jastučnice su me oduševile...

Kroj - pismo (doslovno se otvaraju kao koverta), zatvaraju se pomoću malih bijelih ružica i imaju prugastu plavu podstavu od pamuka. Vanjski materijal je neka vrsta poliesterskog pletiva.
